Built by freelancers who were done refreshing.
BidZero exists because winning work on Freelancer.com still meant babysitting a job feed and writing a fresh proposal under time pressure. We thought an AI assistant should hold that line for you.
Our story
Our founders were freelancers. They knew the routine: refresh the feed between client calls, spot a good project an hour too late, and still spend twenty minutes writing a proposal that sounded like everyone else’s. The best work often went to whoever was simply fastest to a decent bid.
So they built the assistant they wanted, one that watches the feed around the clock, scores each project for genuine fit, and writes a tailored proposal in your voice using your own AI key. Not a template blaster. A disciplined, transparent pipeline you control.
Today BidZero runs that pipeline for freelancers and agencies alike. The mission has not changed: win the right projects, without living on the feed.
Four principles we will not trade away
Discipline over volume
Spraying bids at every project wastes them. We build for fit, score, threshold, and bid on the right work, not the most work.
You stay in control
Approval mode is the default. Autonomy is opt-in, per account, and never hidden. A real bid is always clearly a real bid.
Bring your own key
We never resell AI or mark up tokens. Your key, your provider, your cost, encrypted at rest and never shown again.
Radical transparency
Every project records why it was scored, skipped, or filtered. No black boxes, you can read the reason behind every outcome.
From missed project to bidding assistant
The missed project
Two freelance founders keep losing good projects to whoever bids first. The fix: an assistant that never stops watching.
The pipeline
Fetch, prefilter, score, threshold, propose, bid, the six-step run that turns a noisy feed into a short list of tailored proposals.
Bring your own key
BYOK lands. Use OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and more, with a separate Scoring and Proposal model per account.
Control & scale
Autonomous and Approval modes, plus multi-account support for agencies running many profiles at once.
